Importance Silicone, Rubber & Plastic in Stationary Supplies

Office and School are based on the general supplies like eraser, pencils, pencil sharpeners & rulers which are generally known as Stationary supplies. Stationary supplies have vast variety or range because different stationary items are available in different designs and different materials. In this article, I am pointing out the usage of rubber, silicone and plastic in stationary supplies.

Few years ago, we or our children use ruler or stencils usually made up of wood and they were not so durable in use and especially when we make straight lines with these rulers, lines were not regular or parallel as we want them. Today, silicone made it easy to fold the ruler and you can roll your ruler around your wrist. Just like that, pencil was usually made up of wood with carbide lead but today the combination of silicone and rubber made it easy to strap your pencil around your neck. Stainless steel bodied pencil sharpeners were too heavy in weight and also cost high when manufactured. Plastic pencil sharpeners made it easy to carry anywhere and obviously they are too cheap to buy.
